I have a dog that is GREAT at catching treats. I have another that is horrible at this and I have been tossing her treats from time to time all though her life. Some dogs seem to just have this skill or able to gain this skill and others will never be good at it.
This is true. Some dogs are very good at mapping the flight path of objects, and others may not see well. I don’t hold it against a dog if they are crummy catchers. They don’t seem to mind so long as I keep tossing food at them.
